  • Submerged Priming Rule: This unit is a centrifugal pump utilizing internal impellers; it is not self-priming. It must be completely submerged under the liquid surface before applying power to prevent dry-running damage to the internal bearing rings.

  • Fluid Directionality Control: Reversing the electrical polarity (swapping positive and negative wires) will cause the internal impeller to spin backward. While this will not burn out the motor instantly, it will severely reduce or choke off the outbound fluid flow.

  • Debris Mitigation Layout: Ensure the intake grid remains completely clear of thick sludge, algae, or large particulate debris to prevent mechanical jams inside the impeller cavity.
